Chris, In the new context you provide, "olim" would, indeed, translate into "the late" and refer to a deceased person. But, more often, "olim" is associated

Hi Roman, The Latin dictionary I have defines it as once, formerly, etc. But that didn't seem to make sense, since I had a page full of so-and-so olim
