The Galashiels Freecycle Group is open to anyone who would like to "recycle" items they no longer need, rather than throw them away. Whether it's a computer, a pram, rabbit hutch or an old cooker, you can offer it on our group. If you're looking for that something special yourself! Then you can also post a 'Wanted' message on our group. Non-profit groups are more than welcome to participate. We only have one simple constraint within our group,in that everything posted must be FREE, no money must change hands. We also welcome membership from those living in and around: Selkirk - Hawick - Jedburgh - Kelso - Earlston - St. Boswells - Newtown St. Boswells - Melrose - Lauder - Heriot - Fountainhall - Stow. This group is part of The Freecycle Network, a non-profit organisation and a movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of our landfill sites.
