Long ago our swords sang their songs bittersweet in
this war waged so strongly yet our shield wall held
fast for our swords were forged in the fires of the
troll-wise and our souls married to the common dream.

A new sun rose above the wolf's feast and found a
single rune pole placed in the field of heather.
Around it gathered those of the common dream, young
and old, men and women who held hands fast and gazed
skyward to the new day. Their lineages danced together
in the dream though they come from many distant
shores.

"From this day forward let the world know that we
warriors and craftsmen of old are bound in this simple
dream by our blood and our souls. This dream to pursue
the old ways in a manner that is chilvarous and free
of contempt. To those who share the dream, come forth
from the shadows and share our fires, our friendship
and our knowledge for all are welcome. To those who
seek to challenge our dream, be fore warned our swords
are never far."

Our lands from this day forward shall be called Gaeth
Fionn. May its banner wave free and proud within the
Duchy of Alhambra and the Empire of Adria. May we be a
great star in a heaven of many stars.


The Canton of Gaeth Fionn is a part of the Duchy of Alhambra in the Adrian Empire. The canton covers the western half of the mundane state of Montana, centrally located in the Flathead Valley.

The Adrian Empire is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the study and recreation of Western European culture between the years 1066 and 1603. Our members work to recreate the arts and skills of this era. We also include other cultures that commonly interacted with the Western Europeans during our time frame.
