The GTIYC is an iceboat club based in Traverse City, MI and is devoted to promoting the sport of iceboating. The club sails on all the lakes in the region (weather permitting) and welcomes all ice reports from other areas as well. GTIYC has a number of boats on the ice including DN's, A & C Skeeters, Sprinters, and even Skimmers. Club races are held and we have lots of fun sailing as well. The club meets on the first Tuesday of every month at the GTYC clubhouse just outside of town. We welcome any and all new members and encourage everyone to come by and have some fun.
