I am very happy to be member of this group and I want to use this
opportunity to ask some questions bordering me about the Garden of
Eden as follows;
1. What is the Garden of Eden?
It is where Adam and Eve lived and were tempted prior to the Fall.
2. Why did God create Garden of Eden ?
It was a place for testing Adam and Eve regarding their obedience.
3. How is Garden Eden related to God ?
It was a place acceptable to Him where he could walk and talk with Adam.
4. How does the Garden of Eden apply to human beings?
The Garden of Eden is like Paradise. Men aspire to live higher and will
as they move onward and upward.
5. Is Garden Eden for farming or for praise/worship or both ?
Everything in the Garden was for the use of Adam and Eve. They did not
have to till the ground or work to produce. It was provided for them.
6. As God had send Adam and Eve out of Garden of Eden, has
any human being been in the Garden?
As human beings we are eternal. We were spirits, born into a body,
allowed to live and die, and will be resurrected. Will have a body
housing our spirit forever. Those who have been taken into heaven
without tasting death, dwell somewhere. It could be Paradise or Garden
like. The Garden was eastward, in Eden. So Eden was a geographic
location. The Garden may return to Eden.
7. If going back, what are the credentials to go back ?
Worthiness to dwell in the presence of diety. Not for the wicked.
8. If not going back, why God put Cherub at the gate ?
To prevent Adam and Eve from returning.
9. If going back, is it both Muslims and Christians are going
back to Garden of Eden together?
All of us are considered children of God. Affiliation with a specific
religious group is not our eternal purpose. It is to be a worthy
brother or sister, able to return home.
10. From the first creation is there evidence that there are two Garden
of Eden, for each group
separately?
No, just different accounts of the same experience had by our first
parents, Adam and Eve.
