This list is about Garmin's GPS III PLUS Navigator. The purpose of this community is to share experiences, unexpected discoveries, short cuts and or features, particularly those that are not in the GPS navigator manual, with an intent to make most productive use of the machine and toward an end of becoming intimately familiar with all of the bells and whistles contained therein.

Also of interest are hardware and or software mods that enhance the machine's capability.

I will throw out the first question: Have you bought the $99. CD that contains additional information, and if so do you have any comments to make about it?
