Friendly community for Seventh-day Adventists or those with Adventist background who are primarily attracted to their own gender, whether or not they identify as gay or homosexual.  Subscribers include gay, lesbian and straight SDA's who are committed to the Adventist vision of the gospel.

The focus of the list is mutual support in a walk with Christ in celibacy or heterosexual marriage. If you're not sure just where you stand on the issue of sexual ethics, you're welcome to join and ask questions, but we reserve the right to moderate to make our list a comfortable for those who believe that God invented intimate physical relations expressly for the bonding of a husband and wife in heterosexual marriage.

Since GLAdventist is a subsidiary of GLOWfriends, you'll find most of the postings occur on GLOWfriends, to which you will be subscribed as well. For more details see the GLADventist list web page and the  main GLADventist page.

If you use the "subscribe" button on this page, you'll receive an email asking you to tell us a little about yourself and why you would like to be subscribed to the list, to be sure that all our subscribers are comfortable with each other. Pen names are allowed and even encouraged, but we'd be honored if you would tell us, the moderators, your real name. We promise not to share that information with anyone. If you'll give us a name to for introducing you and share enough about yourself in the Yahoogroups form, we'll probably subscribe you on that basis. (Please give us a real name--something like John or Mary, but preferably less common!)
