Team
manager hits 3-pointer as Green Hope wins: Even if it weren't
for a 3-pointer in the final minute, Green Hope's boys basketball team had put
together a powerful performance on its senior night. With the all-seniors
starting lineup long since removed the game, head coach John Green looked down
the end of his bench and put in Nitin Reddy.

PROTECT YOUR TEEN DRIVER
STEER YOUR TEEN IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION:
As a parent, you have the greatest influence over your
teen's behavior. In fact, leading experts believe parents play a key role in
preventing teen car crashes and deaths. Take the first step: Talk with your
teen about staying safe behind the wheel. Then, keep the conversation going.
You can steer your teen in the right direction, and "Parents Are the Key"
has proven steps that can help. A new CDC video highlights how parents can
help protect their teen drivers from crashes—the leading killer of U.S. teens.

DOWNTOWN CARY CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
Imagine being able to drive to downtown Cary
with your children or grandchildren and spend the day building a bridge or
creating a simple machine. We envision a museum that is a destination not
only for Cary residents, but for people who live all around the Triangle and
beyond. With a train depot nearby, and other recent Downtown additions, the
museum can spur the town to become a true destination.
In order for this to become a reality, we
need your help. The board of directors has pinpointed several potential
locations in the downtown area. We want to show land/building owners that
we have the support of the community. We have set a goal of raising $10,000 in
two weeks. It is possible to do this with your help. Every dollar
we receive from the community shows positive support to other donors. If you
can, please send us a check written to DCCM PO Box 4903, Cary, NC 27519
today.
