The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts (GECA) is a performance-based, community theatre organization serving Escambia County, Alabama, Northwest Escambia County, Florida, and surrounding areas. We are the largest all-volunteer organization supporting the development of performing and visual arts in the region. GECA is comprised of individuals who have a heart for the arts and a desire to see it flourish in the Escambia County area. Anyone wishing to be a part of GECA may join simply by filling out a registration form and paying the annual dues. There are no further requirements for membership. GECA is a not-for-profit, section 501(c)(3) public charity and contributions to GECA are generally deductible under section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi).
