GATSTA seeks to:

* Develop a network of G&T Coordinators and teachers in Sydney and NSW.
* Offer relevant and practical professional development that is also cost effective.
* Tap into the wealth of knowledge amongst members.
* Share ideas, resources and programs.
* Act as an advocacy group that supports G&T education in NSW.
* Develop web based communication to assist in the above.

Membership:

Membership of GATSTA is open to all teachers, student teachers, retired teachers and other related professionals who support the aims of the association and sign the Membership form and pay the annual membership fee as determined by the Annual General Meeting and whose membership is agreed to by the committee. The Annual Membership fee will be $30-00. An additional Joining Fee of $10-00 will be payable with the first membership fee. These fees may vary as determined from time to time by the members at the Annual General meeting. Ordinary Members must be over 18 years of age.
