An Interview with Judith Mackay Stirt
(c) Cheryl Lynne Bradley 2011
The Cook’s Tarot has, so far, created the original art work and kitchen tested recipes for the Major Arcana. We have named this first phase, “Dining with the Major Arcana”. We truly believe that the kitchen is the heart of the home. The principles of achieving awareness through the preparation and sharing of food remain the same whether you live in a mansion or a tent. We welcome you to come on this Tarot journey with us.
The Steele Wizard Tarot: An Interview with Pamela Phillips-Steele
(c) Cheryl Lynne Bradley 2011
Brooks, Alberta, Canada has been home since the mid 80's. I lived all over the US before finally settling in Brooks. A large part of my Heart lives in Southern California with my children where I hope to move in a few years or less. I bought my first tarot deck in 1979 when my Anam Cara`, Maya Heath, and I were on a road trip to Fort Worth, Texas where I purchased the Rider/Waite/Smith deck. After opening the cards back at the motel and going through each card I asked her where the rest were. She assured me they were all there and I of course argued. That was my first experience with Tarot and I firmly believed there were many cards missing.

Robyn-Anne Pollard was born in Benoni, South Africa a little town made famous by Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron and HSH Charlene of Monaco. She is an only child and spent my school years in Boarding School, so learnt at a very early age to be self reliant and sufficient. Both parents have died and she now considera her close friends her family.
AboraMana, Channeled Goddess Wisdom Cards: An Interview with Neithard Horn
(c) Cheryl Lynne Bradley 2011
Neithard (pronounced Nightheart) Horn: Born October 7, 1939 in Germany. Decided to be a fulltime artist when I was 45 years old. Migrated to La Palma Canarias in December 1999. When I was 65 years old I left La Palma for Kaua'i, Hawaii. My life in between will fill a thick book of my memoirs yet to be written. I really don't know where to start because it is so much.
Tarot in the Land of Mystereum: An Interview with J. Jordan Hoggard
(c) Cheryl Lynne Bradley 2011
Architecture was initially the form-giver for The Land of Mystereum. My visual language of divination blooming was the inspiration. I was digging around an orange tiger lily in my garden in 2005, and the Magician from the RWS, the pic on the box, came to mind. At the same time the word architecture came to mind with its Greek roots of "arche" (arkay) and "techne" (teknay). The Magician. Arche. Techne. All 3 hanging out around the flower like hovering hummingbird bees of ideation components. I looked at the flower, and there the inspiration was, "Decks aren't resonating with me, and that’s my gig. I am sight reading them which is great, but something is missing . . . Something is missing. What is missing is how I TELL this visual story, how I DIVINE the images. THAT's what's missing. My language of Tarot.”
The Romance in Food
(c) Patricia Darrow, Astrologer, 2011
Romance between people is a matter of chemistry. So is food. The L-triptophen in turkey can make one sleepy, but chocolate is a food with a certifiable aphrodisiac effect. Not only is the taste pleasurable, but cocoa contains phenylethylamine, a naturally occurring brain chemical that makes humans feel the euphoria associated with love.
Memento mori
(c) Helen Riding, My Wings of Desire, 2011
The countdown starts from the moment of our conception, yet it often takes many years for us to come to terms with our mortality. My father died when I was very young and I have no conscious memory of him or his death. I remember being told that the sticky, milky sap of the frangipani tree in our garden was poisonous, and thinking that must have been what killed him. His actual cause of death was lung cancer. He smoked and worked in a paint factory, and that was what killed him.
2012 Spiritual Aspect
(c) Bonnie Moss, Golden Cup Cafe, 2011
Scholars from various disciplines have dismissed the idea of catastrophe in 2012. The apocalyptic forecasts are considered as pseudoscience by astronomers and scientists. NASA compares 2012 doomsday fears to the approaching end of the millenium namely the Y2K. There were books, some scary, some supposedly prophetic that an immense cosmic wave will change everything- for good or evil. Some forecasts were interpretations of Nostradamus quatrains. Some authors warned of catastrophic floods, earthquakes, famine and a shift of the Earth's magnetic poles, and other calamities. January 1,2000 came and went – so much for the Y2K scare.
Just A Thought
(c) Shelley Erin O'Neil 2011
I agree with the statement by George Bernard Shaw; "As long as I have a reason for living, satisfaction is death".
The Field of Writing
(c) Kathleen O'Neil 2011
If you stop and think about it, our society, indeed society as a whole, evolves around the written word. Can you think of a job today that doesn’t require reading or writing something?
Dead End
(c) Marta Martin 2002-2011
I am among the ranks of the unemployed. What I mean to say is that I am looking for a day job to supplement the money I am not making from writing. I'd always heard that war is good for the economy. Guess we can strike that to read "War, except for this one, is good for the economy." I find that I am no longer particularly "picky" about the jobs I apply for. I'm willing to withstand almost anything for up to eight hours a day. Almost is the operative word there.
Is Rover Psychic?
(c) Atham Z 2002- 2011
Everyone has heard the tales about animals journeying for thousands of miles to find their masters, one of which was recently featured in the movie "Homeward Bound". But there are thousands of such stories.
Tarot Card Predicts Washington Monument Will Fall
(c) HelpFreeTheEarth.com 2011
If you're not familiar with the Illuminati Card Game of Steve Jackson, the game was issued well before 9-11 and the game cards show the twin towers being taken down. What's shocking about it is the fact that this game first hit the specialty stores in 1995! How in the world did Steve Jackson know that the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center would be attacked? This card accurately depicted the World Trade Center attack in great detail.
Building the Bridge of Light to the Higher Self
(c) Susanna Van Zijl 2002-2011
The Higher Self or Ego: The Master Dwjhal Kuhl speaks of the "Higher Self" or "Ego" as an aspect of the constitution of man/woman which is potentially of a threefold nature: 1. Spiritual Will or Atma; 2. Intuition or Buddhi or Love-Wisdom or the Christ principle (now better known as the Christ consciousness); and 3. Higher or Abstract Mind (Higher Manas). The Root of Your Soul
(c) Orna Ben‐Shoshan 2011 (PDF)
Each soul is incarnated into the material realm in order to complete specific assignments. How can we detect the true essence of the soul (its root) and learn about the genuine tasks it took upon itself? What is the significance of giving a name to a new born baby, and how it corresponds with its primordial spiritual name? All according to the wisdom of the Kabala.
And That is Why You Should Learn to Pick Your Battles
(c) The Bloggess, Like Mother Teresa Only Better 2011
This morning I had a fight with Victor about towels. I can’t tell you the details because it wasn’t interesting enough to document at the time, but it was basically me telling Victor I needed to buy new bath towels, and Victor insisting that I NOT buy towels because I “just bought new towels“. Then I pointed out that the last towels I’d bought were hot pink beach towels, and he was all “EXACTLY” and then I hit my head against the wall for an hour.
