Description
In recent years, a surprising number of adoptive families have learned that
their child, adopted from China, has a bio-sibling who was also adopted. These newly found siblings may not have been adopted from the same SWI. The
purpose of this Fujian-wide group is to provide a safe venue for interested
families to post photos of their children — adopted right across the Province — in
hopes another family may see a resemblance and pursue additional information.
This group is also a place to discuss issues which may arise as a result of
finding a bio-sibling. While such a discovery is exciting, it
is also of profound significance for our children, and there are many potential
pitfalls and ramifications to consider. Thus, as well as a safe place to mutually
share photos and adoption info, this group is intended as a
secure place to explore issues surrounding sibling searches in
a sensitive and understanding way.
About Joining this Group:
Click the JOIN button. To protect Member privacy, new members must have adopted
from Fujian, and must respond to an e-Mail asking basic qualifying questions.
FOR FASTER APPROVAL:
To speed the process, please list (in one string of words; Yahoo only allows

name of child; 5.Date of adoption; 6. Name of adoption agency.

photos of your child, taken at various ages, and to enter your child's
