Description:

National Pro-Israel advocacy organization seeks young, bright, energetic
candidates who are extremely comfortable using a wide variety of computer
programs and have artistic skills, to serve primarily as IT Director and also in
a wide range of smaller support tasks. Candidates should feel comfortable
working as artist, typesetter, website manager, consultant on any
computer-related issue; candidates will be expected to take the organization
down new paths of internet connectivity and into new internet-based communities,
and develop a presence in the new communications modalities; develop and
maintain email communications; comfort with hardware a plus; should be able to
triage and handle most software and hardware problems that arise in an office
setting. Will act as liaison to several outside contractors. Must be comfortable
videotaping various presentations, and creating internet-ready excerpts. Will be
expected to research and advise for any technology-related purchases. May be
required to create and format advertisements for print media.

other major Jewish organizations in that we speak our mind and press the truth
as we see it, without regard to whether American or Israeli politicians will
appreciate our words. For example, ZOA was the only major Jewish organization
that strongly criticized the Gaza withdrawal beforehand, and whose predictions
of failure (that Hamas would take over Gaza; that rocket attacks into Israel
from Gaza would worsen not lessen) have sadly proven true. By working for ZOA,
you will be supporting a bold, strong, message-oriented organization that has an
enormous impact on America's dialog about Israel and the Middle East conflict.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

Familiarity or comfort with a wide variety of software including: Photoshop,
Illustrator, Excel, Word, video-editing; must be capable of achieving expertise
in virtually any software; must be comfortable with Windows, PCs. Should feel
comfortable with general triage of PC hardware and software problems.
