OUR VISION & MISSION

Fruitvale Presbyterian Church is a growing and emerging community of diverse people gathered together by our common faith in Jesus the Christ.

We feel called to be a community that is inter-generational and multi-cultural, in which all can discover, re-discover and deepen their faith and experience of the Triune God.

We seek to be an inclusive community that involves and empowers each and every member and friend to be full participants both in the life of our church and in their personal faith journey.

We are committed to integrating our faith and daily life, believing that faith is not just about personal piety but about being bridge-builders, peacemakers and justice-doers as we work with our neighbors to respond to the concrete needs of the people of Oakland's Dimond and Laurel Districts through regular ministries, partnerships, special opportunities, and personal relationships.
