WEEKLY RUNS

We have regular runs Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6:30 PM), Saturdays at 8:30 AM, and Sundays at 10:00 AM. Runs are normally held at Lake Calhoun. We meet in the parking lot of the Lake Calhoun Executive in the NW corner of Lake Calhoun where Lake Street and Excelsior Boulevard split. The last Sunday of each month, we run along the Mississippi River near downtown Minneapolis. We meet in the parking lot of De La Salle High School on the west side of the Hennepin Avenue Bridge on Nicollet Island.

ENCOURAGEMENT

There is a popular misconception that to participate in FrontRunners you have to be fast. New runners feel they have to achieve a certain mileage or speed before they can show up for a run. This is certainly a false conception! We have many runners of all abilities and several walkers. Be assured that you will not be left behind. Naturally some members are faster runners than others. This can motivate you to achieve higher goals. By far it is the camaraderie and acceptance that keeps FrontRunners successful. We believe the spirit of inclusion and participation is most important. Come and join us for a run. We’ll be happy to see you and you’ll be glad you joined us.
