We are a netroots group that has gotten together to support a women's shelter on the Standing Rock Reservation. Currently we are brainstorming on the best way to get donations and grants for a new house for the shelter, since it lost its building to vandalism, and also on a system for getting material donations on a long-term basis. W e will also be discussing other things we can do to support the shelter, and possibly also to promote legislative and policy change. The group could also evolve to include discussion of other issues as well, it's up to the members. If you're interested, welcome!
