"Families Empowering Families"

A central Oklahoma based group for the support of Midwives in Oklahoma. We support community awareness of out of hospital birth choices, a call to action to protect the legal rights of practicing midwives, and defend the right of parents to chose a safe and natural birth in the state of Oklahoma.

This forum maybe used by past, present, and potential clients of midwives to share their experiences and discuss these issues as a community.

This forum may also be used as a resource for helping families find a midwife in their area, to ask questions about the issues, and to find resources to make informed decisions when deciding on the kind of midwifery care that best meets their family's needs, be it a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Certified Midwife (CM), or Certified Professional Midwife (CPM).

It is our goal to provide a community forum for midwives, midwifery students, doulas and families so as to advance the cause of safe midwifery and out of hospital birthing options in the state of Oklahoma.
