"Friends of Alberta Park" is an organization of citizens that serve as an advocate for Alberta Park located at 19th and Ainsworth in Portland, OR. "FAP" is charged with promoting public support for the care of this valuable resource and with protecting the Park from misuse. Our mandate is to help maintain a safe fun environment for all.

Friends of Alberta Park serves as a community liaison group which promotes the park and its benefit to the community.

"Friends of Alberta Park" strives to support all safe park activities & events, while protecting park assets. Our goal is to offer support and stewardship without harming the quality of life for those that live near the park.

Thats right, no need to attend a meeting, we don't even have them. Sure, we have events & ask for volunteers but it is organized event by event, just show up if you want. We use our Yahoo group for planning and communication so check back or get group e-mails to stay informed. Nothing more!
