This group allows us to share items no longer needed or wanted - from baby clothes to cars,(except for illegal items such as explosives, firearms, or items with adult content). ABSOLUTELY ***NO** TAG SALE POSTINGS. If you are giving stuff away after a tag sale, wait until it's over and simply say you have free stuff sitting on your lawn to come take away. Anyone posting about a tag sale, lawn sale, garage sale, etc. will be removed. We have a standard format for messages, i.e. Offer, Wanted, Taken - plus the item - plus your town - in the subject line, and we are strict about this. No "praise" or "thank you" messages. Cuts down on email. Please use Freecycle™ responsibly, show up when you say you will take something, correspond with each other in a courteous and timely fashion, AND please try to offer items as often as you ask for them. It's nice to get free stuff, but the philosophy of this group includes sharing your own stuff. When you subscribe, please read through the welcome e-mail message because it details how the group works. All new members are initially moderated. And in this group, regarding "spam," it's one strike and you're out.
