Haverhill Freecycle Rules for Posting:

1) Begin the "Subject" bar of each message with OFFER: Item (include your location), or WANTED: Item.

2) When an item is taken or received, post TAKEN: Item, or RECEIVED: Item. Then delete your OFFER or WANTED.

3) Do not use "Pending Pickup." When an item is committed, post a TAKEN, then delete your post.

4) Do not use all capital letters in your postings.

5) If offering more than one item, do it in one e-mail.

6) Respond only to the offerer, not to the group.

7) Arrange pickup with one person only; do not post "first come, first served" or "item will be in the driveway." Make arrangement by e-mail. No yard sales or leftovers.

8) Do not threaten "Going in the trash if not picked up . . . ."

9) No OFFERs or WANTEDs for pets. See http://www.petfinder.com/ .

10) No cross-posting. No trading or bartering. No free estimates for work. No ads. No asking for advice. No chat.

11) No politics, no spam, no money. Keep it free, legal and appropriate for all ages.
