Re: [FreeToGrow_manchester] Banana plant?

Hi,
Banana plants do grow really big!
When you get another couple of leaves, repot the plant in a pot a couple of inches larger and keep repotting as the plant grows. A good indicator of whether you should repot is if the roots are coming out of the holes in the bottom of the pot - if they are, it needs a move.
You should keep your plant somewhere sunny - on a sunny windowsill or conservatory, as it is a tropical plant.
Keep it watered well in the summer and only water every week or 2 weeks in the winter when it will be dormant and won't grow.
Good luck with it :)
Judy

I bought one of those Banana in a can things.
The seed has grown and now has the first 2 leaves.
There are no directions as what to do with it now, or how big it will grow.
I really didn't expect it to grow at all What should I do now?
Shaz
