My name is Frank Nemecek - a novelist and independent filmmaker from Detroit, Michigan. I recently published my first novel, The Candidacy.

I'm also finishing a feature length documentary on the former Book-Cadillac Hotel in downtown Detroit, entitled Checking In: The Story of the Book-Cadillac Hotel. It's narrated by Ann Marie Weinert and will be showing up on the film festival circuit soon.
