Thank you so much to all of you who have eagerly emailed us in the past several.... ummm.... *months* (gasp! Has it been that long!) wondering if you have been inadvertently dropped off our mailing list. No, no,... you are still on the list, we just took a loooooooong break and didn't send a newsletter since (gulp) last JANUARY. Yes, a beating with a wet noodle would be appropriate. Please limit yourself to 50 lashes each. Thank you.
We didn't produce many new patterns this year, but we did get a new designer! Little Mei, age 7, has started her quilt pattern career with three lovely whimsical patterns that you might enjoy.1. Frog Eating a Fly
Little Mei enjoys drawing, especially dragons and other creatures. Hopefully we'll feature more of Little Mei's work in the future!
As for the other projects we've been working on - a book, pattern kits, and the like - we'll slowly be getting back into the swing of things, and expect good things to happen in the near future.
Thank you for your kind patience during 2007 - "The Year Of No Patterns". Your words of encouragement have been greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Annette Truong FourTwinSisters.com :)
P.S. our traditional fat quarter drawing at Christmas makes everyone a winner! Since I'm anticipating a lot of winners claiming their prize, I'm going to be giving out fat eighths (instead of fat quarters) to the first 50 replies by December 20. Please email your full mailing address to Annette: annettetruong@.... Yes if you are international you are eligible. One mailing per household.
Privacy: Your address will not be used for any purpose except to mail your fat eighth. It is then purged from my records.
Sending fat eighths is my thank you to everyone who has supported FourTwinSisters in any way, from browsing our patterns, to making donations online, to sending encouraging email. Thank you quilters!
Our first quilt book contest is now under way! Print the Bed of Roses quilt pattern, and make two roses and two leaves. Mail them in to enter the contest. Deadline: March 31, 2007. Your blocks will be assembled into a quilt top with all other submissions, and one entry will be randomly selected to receive the completed top after the quilt has been photographed. More details on our book page.

After doing 2 kits, she used her own fabric and produced several more blocks, which you can see below. As her "pattern tester appreciation" item, Ella chose a mug. Thank you for being a wonderful tester Ella!

Judy's pattern tester appreciation mug features over 10 of her patterns. Thank you for your time, barter, and effort, Judy!

Janet Seiber
Janet Seiber was one of our first pattern testers to sign up earlier this summer. After completing her first couple of kits in record time, Janet volunteered to test our patterns using her own fabric. She sent me a photo of her fabric stash, and I can see why she volunteered to use her own fabric!

FourTwinSisters.com is a site that features free quilt patterns. Yes, we really are four twin sisters!
Margaret and Annette are the oldest twins and the creator of all the patterns on FourTwinSisters.com.We do all our patterns using the fine vector art capabilities of MS Word!We
both love quilting, but since we both work full time and have toddlers,
it's easier for us to indulge in our love of quilting by making
patterns for others to enjoy.Our
younger sisters, Penny and Marilyn, love quilting too but since they
are in full-time medical studies they only contribute their pretty
faces to our logo, and words of encouragement. We also have a younger brother, David, who, as far as I know, has never made a quilt. (Are there too many commas in that sentence? I never know when to stop.)
