Description

This group was created in order to share information with members of the Forsyth County, GA Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES).

Forsyth County ARES Net meets weekly on Tuesdays at 8PM on the WB4GQX repeater (147.15+) located on Sawnee Mountain in Cumming, GA. In case of repeater failure this net will operate on 146.46Mhz simplex.  Click here for details

Meetings are the SECOND Monday of the month at the City of Cumming Police Station, 301 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Cumming GA at 7PM. (2 blocks south of courthouse)  Click here for a map

Membership in ARES is open to any Amateur Radio operator.  You do not need to be a member of Forsyth ARES to participate in our nets or come to our meetings.
