This group was created for the neighbors of the Forest Park area of Takoma Park, MD. (Generally, though not exclusively, south of Forest Park proper between Elm Ave and New Hampshire Ave - including Belford Dr, Belford Pl, Circle Ave, Conway Ave, Elm Ave, Ethan Allen Ave, Prince George's Ave and Woodland Ave.)

Please use this group to announce and discuss issues relevant to our neighborhood. You can also find the most recent neighborhood contact list and other documents stored in the "files" area of the group website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ForestPark-TP-MD/.

This group will provide a forum to discuss issues that concern all of us and keep well-informed about the goings on of our community. More importantly, it will give us an opportunity to get to know each other better and welcome new members to our neighborhood.

This is currently a non-moderated, members-only list. Please keep messages relevant and focused, so we don't have to send the listserv police after you... we know where you live :-)

We are located within a larger neighborhood association called: South of Sligo Creek Citizen's Association (SOSCA). They have two listservs and regular meetings and represent a unified voice for us in city affairs.
