Pathways of Light focuses on accessing Inner Wisdom, the Holy Spirit, for answers and guidance in daily life. This group is dedicated to the practice of opening to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and following it in all our doings.

In Lesson 155 of the Workbook of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) titled, "I will step back and let Him lead the way," we are told "There is a way of living in the world that is not here, although it seems to be. You do not change appearance, though you smile more frequently. Your forehead is serene; your eyes are quiet." An important part of stepping back is laying down our defenses. A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 153 is "In my defenselessness my safety lies." It provides an outline for practice that will lead to a time when "you will never cease to think of [God], and hear His loving Voice guiding your footsteps into quiet ways."

Robert and Mary Stoelting, co-founders of Pathways of Light, have been guided recently to move the Pathways of Light offices to south Florida. From their desire to follow Holy Spirit's lead in all their doing, they began a daily practice of reading ACIM Lesson 153, then quieting their minds to receive the Holy Spirit's guidance. Some of their postings will refer to guidance received regarding this move.

Members of this group are also invited to share their experiences and insights as they apply stepping back and letting Him lead the way in their daily lives.

Group Guidelines

This group is about practicing following Holy Spirit's lead. It is a learning process. We are not here to judge anyone's process, but to support each other as we strengthen our willingness and connection to the Holy Spirit in our minds. If you want to share the posts of other members elsewhere, please ask their permission before you do.
