I was curious if anyone else ever wondered if characters from certain books
would be friends with characters from other books. For example, if Alec would be
friends with Mildmay from Sarah Monette's books. I think they would. But I don't
think Felix and Seregil would. Just one of those odd thoughts that I wondered if
anyone else ever had.

Oh, I do that too. Sometimes I play little crossover scenarios in my
head, just for fun.
What would happen if Alec and Seregil fell through a rabbit hole and
ended up in modern day Chicago and met Fraser and Ray from "Due South"
(one of my favorite tv shows).
Or if they found a stargate in some hidden corner of Lynn's world (btw I
can't remember if Lynn's world has a name?) and got a visit from either
SG1 or Atlantis. Can you imagine what would happen if Nysander ever met
Dumbledore? *bg*

that makes me think of this great little comic on deviant art about nightrunner

Hm... I seriously was having the same sort of thought.

I am just reading "the lies of locke lamorra" (which is by the way a nice read
for everyone having enjoyed the thieving part of the NR books) and was sorta
wondering what mind-boggling mischieve would be the result of a cooporation
between Seregil and Locke xD

cheers,

I'm still working on *The Lies of Locke Lamora*, but that would make for a
very FUN adventure indeed! Do you think they would either drive each other
batty though or just work together perfectly? I see it as being an either/or
kind of thing, not too much compromise there.

thing. :) Better order it this week. Thank you for the lovely surprise though

Both being very headstrong and not likely to take orders from another, it would
probably take a mutual goal, some score thad needs settling, but once things get
going I think they'll drive each other to new heights xD

Haha.. I too will refuse to read that. Otherwise the next 2months are gonna be

Also considering that the next book is probably years off or something, I shall

I agree.... there is no stopping me! I am also into chapter 2. The next few
months until the whole book comes out is going to be Hell on Earth because
of it, but... OH WELL!

On a funny note. I have a cat, he is a Munchkin so he has dwarfism
basically, and he looks like an otter, so I named him Seregil. This could
possibly have been the greatest mistake of my life. The little guy is
constantly into everything. I mean EVERYTHING. Oh, and he torments the dogs.
SO...Ser has figured out in the past how to open cabinets, so any he can
reach must be blocked or locked or he will steal food from them. Today I
caught the nasty little thief as he figured out how to open drawers... more
specifically the drawer with the catnip in it! Addiction is surely an
illness. :)

He also knows that doorknobs are the secret to getting through doors. He
will jump up, grab a doorknob and hand from it screaming and kicking the
door until he falls off. Rinse and repeat, next thing I know I have lost
over an hour of sleep trying to ignore the horrific persistence. Note that
his walking all over me and moving laundry and other assorted things around
my room all night is not a sane alternative to the monster's door knocking.

Me and all my roommates ( 5 total, all Oregon State University bona-fide
fans of the Goddess) are convinced it is all because of the name...

Addie

I'm too much of a sucker for instant gratification. So yeah... I'm already
into chapter 2. ^_^

Thanks a lot for the nice Easter egg but... along with Wendy and Noerml, I won't
read it either. I don't want to spoil the surprise... and I don't want to stop
once I started. 2 months are not a lot to go so I'll be jedi-ishly patient :o)

*hides* I spotted a sentence which seemed wonky/weird to me?:

"Give me your hand, Sebrahn," she said softly. Sebrahn let her clasp it. She
continued to look at him intently, and Seregil knew she seeing whatever it was
that the wizards did.

or is that just me? ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; It just sounds weird to me :/
*crawls back into lurking hole* XDDDDD

AWESOME! I wish I wasn't just about to go to work, otherwise I'd read it all
right this second~! Like a few others, I'm also too much of a sucker for instant
gratification. :3

Thank you so much, Lynn~!
