Flash Drama is theatrical expression which does not exceed ten minutes on stage. The purpose of this workshop is to develop scripts of this genre, hone the skills of the authors and to promote performance and publication. The method of achieving this is to submit scripts to the workshop for peer review and to engage in discussion of the theory and practice of the art.
The group contains a core of experienced writers who have been published and performed in this and other genres, including one-act or full-length plays, novels, short fiction and nonfiction. While we more experienced authors strive to perfect our art we also wish to pass on our knowledge to those who are starting out. It is not necessary to be an experienced writer to join the group.
