The Five Towns are the communities of Binyamina, Caesarea, Pardess Hanna and Karkur, Hadera and Zichron Ya'acov, and the surrounding settlements, in the northern-central area of Israel. There is a substantial population of English-speakers in the area, with varied backgrounds, interests, degrees of religious commitment etc. etc. Our membership is mainly local, but we do have members living or working throughout Israel and abroad who wish to maintain their connection with the Five Towns and we welcome such interest.

The Mailing list is, NOT A CHAT ROOM, rather intended to provide information of general interest about communal activities, local issues, events, public services, items for sale/wanted, jobs, etc. etc. It is NOT intended as a vehicle to promote commercial activities (see below) or political issues.

When wishing to subscribe to the group, please indicate something about yourself and your interest or connection with the Five Towns as membership is moderated.

Note that commercial postings are permitted ONLY on the 1st and 15th of every month (or the next day, if the date falls on either a Saturday or holiday. Commercial postings should be for local (as in the Five-Towns catchment area) businesses or service providers only.
