Some members use pattern-drafting software, many are hand drafting patterns, and of course many use commercial patterns. We discuss design, pattern drafting of any kind, fitting techniques, construction techniques, embellishments and anything that will improve our skills. There are many experts on our list that are anxious and ready to answer your questions. Since everyone has varying degrees of skill, (from beginner to couture) you are bound to get an answer that works for you.
