- You must disclose your email ID or you cannot be Approved.
- Please list your ZIP CODE in your request.
- You CANNOT choose NO EMAIL in your Profile as Admin MUST be able to reach you, which is minimal.
- Please read our Rules as some are different on this site than others.
- We do NOT allow Pet Posts.
- Everything posted must be Free, Legal & Family Appropriate.
- Proper FORMAT in the Subject Line is MANDATORY for ALL Freecycle sites.
- Respect others by NOT being a No-Show.
- Do NOT Cross-Post for 24 hours to other groups.
- RESPOND you have read & will comply with above.

Our mission is to be a Caring, Accountable, Responsible, Encouraging, Sensible (CARES) group of Happy Givers. After reading the Pending Membership material, please REPLY that you understand and will follow the rules so we can approve your membership quickly.

Our purpose is to serve the Fitchburg area & neighboring towns, including our southern borders of VT and NH. With gas prices and time constraints, having an organization in the Fitchburg area reduces the amount of time and distance for members to travel when picking up items. We MAY approve your membership if you do not live in these areas on a case by case basis.

Fitchburg_Freecycle_CARES group is open to those who want to Offer usable items they don't need but someone else could use. You may post for Wanted items but be reasonable in your expectations and post only once per month for the same item. You may use the site for Reverse Offers by watching the Wanteds and supplying a need. Also, Non-Profits are encouraged to place Wanted postings to this group. We want to help fulfill your needs!
