This list is for birthmothers only and has been in existence for twelve years.

This list is for birthmothers with a closed adoption, NOT for adoptees or adopters or birthmothers with an open adoption. There are other groups on Yahoo for those members of the triad. If you fall under the category of more than one member of the triad, we ask that you find another list since we want this list strictly for first moms.

Most of our members are from the 1950's-1960's-1970's era and had closed adoptions.

You will be asked for some personal information before joining. If this is a problem for you, please do not request a subscription. All new members' posts will be "moderated".

Some degree of participation in group discussions is essential to maintaining membership in the group. If you do not post an introduction within 30 days, you will be removed from the list.
