Re: [First1000] PorcFest Email - Second Draft

Hi Rich,

Looks good.  My only comment is that it sounds a bit redundant to say "We will be having events throughout the week though" after saying that the dates of PF are June 18-24.  Did you mean to list just the dates of the main weekend?

Let me know when you are satisfied with the content and I will send it out.

Thanks,
Sandy

Hi. My name is Rich Goldman and I am the head organizer of the Free State Project's 2007 Porcupine Freedom Festival (aka PorcFest). I'm emailing you First 1000 pledgers to give you a special invitation to this year's PorcFest.

PorcFest this year will be from June 18-24 at Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, NH.  We will be having events throughout the week though, so whenever and for however long you can attend, you should be able to enjoy the experience that is PorcFest.

Indeed, for those of you who have committed to moving to New Hampshire by the end of 2008, PorcFest offers several unique opportunities.

For those interested in meeting future neighbors, PorcFest will have in attendance fellow First 1000 signers, those who already live in the The Free State and/or have made the move, and Free State Project members from around the world.

For those interested in seeing more of New Hampshire, you can either take trips on your own or purchase seats on Free State Project organized bus tours .

For those looking for houses, jobs, and involvement opportunities, PorcFest will have realtors, job recruiters, and various organizations in attendance during our vendor sessions on Friday and Saturday.

While we have many more activities planned, I can only list so many in this email :-) For more information on the Festival and the activities that will be occurring, please either visit www.PorcFest.com or email me at rgoldman@freestateproject.org with any questions or concerns.  Once you know you will be coming however, we would appreciate it if you would register as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

On behalf of The Free State Project, we look forward to seeing you (along with your family and friends) at PorcFest this year.

Rich Goldman
Head Organizer, PorcFest 2007
