785th REUNION - A BIG SUCCESS! JUNE 15, 16, AND 17th were busy days here in Finley! Approximately 175, 785ers returned for the reunion. It was great fun! Day one began with registration and the flag raising ceremony followed by a social at the American Legion! Attendees returned from all eras of the base. Much back slapping and hugging was seen! Great stories were told of good and not so good times at the base.

Day two was the wonderful parade which took on a patriotic theme in honor of our returning guests from the 785th. The Meet & Greet brought friends out from the community to become reacquainted with those they knew but hadn't been in touch with in years! Disappointment in the condition of the base was seen in the faces of those who toured the site. Spirits improved with the banquet that evening. The Legion was nearly filled to the brim! Great music, speakers and food!

The final day was a sad one, goodbyes were said with promises to return for the next reunion we were told we will be hosting in 5 years. Keep it in mind as we didn't say no!

Thank you 785ers for the great reunion. We really enjoyed your visit! You are the GREATEST! Next reunion...2012????
