The novelist, Jane Austen revised 3 of her novels on a tiny tripod table. The writer, Mark Twain, built a small writer's haven with a fireplace in it. The author, J.K. Rowling created a character in her books, named Harry Potter. She has him living in a cupboard under stairs til the age of 11.

I am no expert in the building trade. This is one reason this group was started. Beginners, novices, experts, curious lurkers..all needed in this creative adventure - learning, sharing, teaching on making your own space. I live in a 8'x24' wood building. Until my "real" small space cupboard is built. Lol.
