This group is for writers of science fiction, SF, and fantasy who wish to improve their writing by helping others with their work in progress. Through reading, editing and critiquing stories, it is hoped that we will all develop our skills to tell interesting and publishable stories. The group is for writers and authors of all levels, and there are no participation requirements.

Stories can be long or short, simple or complex, it doesn't matter. Group activity usually centres around submissions and critiques of authors' stories as well as other discussions about writing good fiction. Other topics of discussion are encouraged--we all need a break from writing occasionally and its fun, but all such discussions must remain courteous. Spamming and boorish behaviour will not be tolerated--no flame wars.

The only other rule in the group is that all criticism of an authors' submission must be constructive. Beyond that, just have fun and participate in whatever way makes you feel most comfortable. Don't worry if your first message or two doesn't go through immediately. First time posters are moderated, but after your first legitimate post the settings will be changed so you can post freely.
