Thank you, Marion, for your update on times past and to come. The
meeting at Rose Cottage seems such a long time ago. The dull cool
weather of this past summer has made all events blur into one, with
only the occasional hot day to serve as a memory.

I often wonder if we are not only losing the sense and gift of time but
whether people such as Fay Inchfawn and Elizabeth Goudge, people from
the past, did indeed lead less eventful lives or if they also wondered
where time has gone.
