Since we've had a few new members the last couple of days, I thought I'd take a
moment to welcome everyone again...

We're knitting lace from Myrna Stahman's Faroese Style Shawls and Scarves book,
which can be found either through your local yarn store, various knitting shop
websites or through Myrna herself.

(don't succumb to Amazon's ridiculous prices for an "out of print" book - the
book is very much IN print, but Myrna self-publishes!)

I'll also take a moment and remind everyone that while we're not very chatty
here, you can choose to receive this email list at the yahoo website, or in
digest form.

I'm not the expert here, by any means, tho' I am the List Mom. Myrna stops in as
she can to answer questions (and on Ravelry, too) but we have several members
with much experience knitting Myrna's patterns and I usually defer to them.

There are lots of email messages in the archives that may help you with
questions you have, if someone doesn't answer quickly enough, so don't forget to
check there, too!
