EU Threatens USA - Enough Is Enough!

This week the European Union dared to threaten the United States with "retaliation" if we adopt a planned "Buy American" policy with the $800 Billion stimulus plan earmarked for American goods and services.

This coming from the continent that we rescued, at great American cost of lives and capital, from the oppression of Hitler! Additionally we helped Europe rebuild after the war without asking for one thin dime!

The EU warnings came in letters to US political leaders in Congress, Timothy Geithner, the Treasury Secretary, and Hillary Clinton, the Secretary of State. Almost immediately, political leaders have been back pedaling from a "Buy American" policy.

How is this situation is  possible?  Our own national sovereignty and self direction are compromised by foreign entities to the extent that they believe they have the right to tell our nation how YOUR tax money is going to be spent!   They believe they have a right to get in line for "bailout money" too. It is the unholy banking alliances and trade deals that have been struck over the years that have reduced us to this terrible impotency and compromise.

Global banking interests like the G20, entities such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and others now believe that they can direct American financial interests that you and I worked for and paid for. Our sovereignty and freedom has been severely compromised by these groups and relationships.

The KC-167 air tanker project was actually awarded to Europe by our Air Force before public outcry called the contract back for a rethinking. Enough is Enough! Has our Government lost its mind, or are they beholden to outside powers through compromise and corruption?

The Monroe Doctrine was first stated by founding father James Monroe in 1823. Here it was stated that any attempt by a Europe to oppress or control any nation in the western hemisphere would be seen as an act of aggression and the United States would intervene. It is high time we acted as a first rate power, and stood by the wisdom of the Monroe Doctrine.

When elected to Congress, I will wholeheartedly work to restore the dignity of our country. This will include getting  foreign governments out of the process in their attempt to control our sovereignty , internal laws, budgets and spending programs. We live under OUR Constitution and are beholden to none except our Creator.
