The purpose of this Fairwind yahoo group is to help promote the hobby and enjoyment of racing the Fairwind. The Fairwind is recognized by American Model Yachting Association (AMYA) as a One Design Class r/c sailboat.

As the Fairwind Class Secretary I am Clarifying the question regarding the
Fairwind III. The Kyosho Fairwind III will be included in the current Fairwind Class and will be allowed to race in any AMYA Fairwind class event.
