The purpose of this Fairwind yahoo group is to help promote the hobby and enjoyment of racing the Fairwind. The Fairwind is recognized by American Model Yachting Association (AMYA) as a One Design Class r/c sailboat.

We should be hearing soon about the Region 1&2 races that were held September 12.

Region 5 Championship regatta on Nov 7-8, and the National Championship on Dec 5-6, both in Tucson, AZ. The races are sponsored by the Lakeside MYC (#46) for additional information call 517-651-2628 or sailing@ModelYachtClub.org.
