Families United in Homeschooling came together in the fall of 2006 and has since welcomed many families. We are a unique social group, not an internet-only group or co-op.

We meet each Tuesday in Belleville from 10a-12p. The morning begins with our gym coordinator who starts the day with a short warm-up session before moving into structured gym time until 11:00. The kids enjoy activities of all types, including basketball, dodgeball, baseball, hockey, soccer, shuttle runs, and much more! During warm weather months, activities are held outdoors.
The final hour is spent in an activity room where the kids can grab and drink and something to snack on before diving into a project or just socializing with friends. Some former projects have been small engine repair, geocaching, making homemade ice cream, just to name a few. Occasionally, we schedule programs with people in the community (police, fire, parks, etc.) Our monthly group field trips take us to interesting places like museums, factories, auditoriums, and the like.
