FTM International and cognate groups provide support for FTMs (Female to Male Transsexuals) and their families in cities throughout the world. FTM International spans 18 countries and 20 years.

FTM-I_Ohio grew out of a meeting held in September of 2006 by FTMs and allies from all over the state with the idea of holding a conference in Ohio and was welcomed as a start up chapter by FTM-I in October 2006. Currently the group is working on building a conference that will take place in 2008 or 2009 in Cleveland to provide support and education to FTM's, Soffa's and the medical community as well as building the chapter into a state wide outreach and advocacy voice for FTM's, soffa's and all female to male's on the gender variant spectrum and needs volunteers to help out in many different areas.

This yahoo group exists as a discussion forum for the business of the FTM-I_Ohio chapter. Membership is open to all FTM's and Soffa's and the business discussed is about the chapter. If you wish to join the chapter and want to volunteer your time and effort please contact us at FTMIOhio@yahoo.com.
