Welcome! This is a movie group based in Ft. Lauderdale for Bears and their friends. We now have over 200 members! Please join us each week on Tuesday evening to see new releases, independent films and gay-themed movies at local theaters. Sometimes we will meet afterwards for coffee and dessert to discuss the film. The movies selected are of every type, and there is no obligation to see every movie, just the ones that interest you. If you are joining us for the first time, just look for the group of hirsute men standing near the ticket line. We generally gather about 15-30 minutes before show time to buy tickets and concessions and to chat.

If you wish to join the group to receive movie announcements and reminders or refer friends, please send an email to the moderator at FTLMovieBears-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or join the group by following the instructions and prompts on this website. All memberships must be approved by the moderator. Please also note that only the group moderators may send e-mails and reminders to group members. The group's only purpose is to communicate movie information and reminders to members. It does not function as a chat room nor does it provide for individual contacts among the members. Members must be twenty-one years old or older.
