This list is for announcements of upcoming events for the chapter of Families for Russian and Ukrainian Adoption (FRUA) that covers the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and the state of Maryland.

This Yahoo group has open membership,you do not need Moderator approval to join, and you do not need to be a FRUA-DC member to recieve these emails.

When you join FRUA, you will be added to the FRUA-DC newsgroup, which sends out expanded information about FRUA events, as well as news items of interest for local families, such as cultural and adoption related events. FRUA-DC members also receive the "FRUA-DC Times" newsletter as well the the "FRUA Family Focus" journal from FRUA National. FRUA membership information is located in the FILES section.
