This list is for announcements of upcoming events for the chapter of Families for Russian and Ukrainian Adoption (FRUA) that covers the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and the state of Maryland.

FRUA shares international adoption information and support for those who are interested in Russian adoption, Ukrainian adoption, as well adoption from neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan, Georgia, Belarus, Moldava and other former Soviet Bloc countries.

This Yahoo group has open membership,you do not need Moderator approval to join, and you do not need to be a FRUA-DC member to recieve these emails.



When you join FRUA, you will be added to the FRUA-DC members newsgroup, which sends out expanded information about FRUA events, as well as news items of interest for local families, such as cultural and adoption related events. FRUA-DC members also receive the "FRUA-DC Times" newsletter as well the the "FRUA Family Focus" journal from FRUA National. FRUA membership information is located in the FILES section.
