likewise, if my wife tackles jean scott and beats the hell out of her
the next time she sees her, i'm sure you'll agree that jean should
accept some of the blame for this. she chose to write an article which
would seriously anger people who see her on a regular basis. it'd be a
lot less risky, as a public figure, to not do that.

(my wife is not going to do this; she does, however, sincerely wish
that she doesn't encounter jean anytime soon, so she doesn't have to
suppress her very strong urge to do so.)

i'm going to shut up about this now, because i really can't go much
farther without calling people barbarians and neanderthals and such,
which would probably be a violation of the vpfree terms of use. this
thread has reopened my eyes about the society i live in, and not in a
good way.
