I have posted notes from tonight's meeting on the website. Due to computer problems, I lost the last 2/3 of the notes, and had to reconstruct them from memory, so ... sorry.

Now open to the public, the Marymoor Connector Trail is a critical link in the “Locks to Lakes” regional trail corridor. With the Marymoor Connector Trail in place, the cities of Seattle, Lake Forest Park, Bothell and Woodinville are now connected on the Burke-Gilman and Sammamish River trails with Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, and the Mountains to Sound Greenway via the East Lake Sammamish Trail.
Join us on the trail!
Marymoor Park May 14, 2009 11 a.m. - noon
6046 W Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE Redmond, WA 98052 Directions via Google, or take a look at our hip new Marymoor map. Follow signs to the Marymoor Connector Trail’s new boardwalk! We work every day to enhance opportunities for active recreation and regional mobility – bicycling, walking, jogging, skating – and improving pedestrian safety.
To all Friends of Marymoor Park - the following is information from the Washington State Department of Transportation concerning road work on SR-520 during March and April:
Starting in March, we’ll rebuild the approaches to five bridges on SR 520 between Bellevue and Redmond. Drivers can expect six to eight weekends of work in March and April when traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. In addition to the weekend work, crews will also close multiple lanes at night as they repave both directions of SR 520 between I-405 and West Lake Sammamish Parkway. Those closures will last through late summer.
Thank you for your time, if you have any other further questions or concerns, please let me know.

You might want to post information about this on your websites or print something in your newsletters to let those associated with your organizations to be prepared for possible delays.
To all Friends of Marymoor Park
I have posted both some minutes from the November meeting and some briefer
notes, from Greg, from the October meeting to the FOMP website.

To all Friends of Marymoor Park. As always, our November meeting is a week early, to avoid Thanksgiving. Thus, we will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, November 19th, in the Art Barn northeast of Clise Mansion. Topics will include:
Connector Trail landscaping enhancement proposal – Terry Brady, King County Parks
MARYMOOR MAP (DRAFT) FOR REVIEW
The draft Marymoor map is available in PDF format for review. This is the
same map that was presented at the August meeting. Please view either the
low-resolution map http://www.marymoor.org/Marymoor_Map_v5_08.27.08.pdf or
the high-resolution map
www.metrokc.gov/parks/documents/marymoormap2008-draft.pdf (download time
will be longer for the high resolution version).
Please also make sure to note that this is a DRAFT and that there are many
tweaks left to be made, most importantly: making the legend smaller and
consolidating some of the info in there and correcting the path of the
connector trail.
Please review the map and send comments to Frana Milan,
frana.milan@... or if you'd like to draw on the map and fax it
back, her fax number is 206.296.8686. Comments should be sent by September
19th.
