Description

This group covers issues generally affecting people who are
of a "First" Generational Multiracially (FGM) Mixed heritage.

At FGM-Mixed we talk about our various experiences
as ‘Mixed’ people (i.e. 'multi'-racials) and those
issues and encounters noted among the many types of
‘Mixed’ people located both in the USA and worldwide.

We are not adherents of the racist concept known
as the “one-drop rule” and, thus, we do not focus
on the fractions, percentages or other amounts of
ancestral blood-lineage found in any particular group.

Everyone is welcomed here!!!

This welcome extends to those people who
are of any type of 'Multi'-racial admixture.

This includes, of course, any individuals who are
'First-Generational Multiracials' (FGMs / ex. bi-racial,
mulatto, hapa, etc.) - via their ‘Mixed-Parentage’.

And it also includes people who are 'Multi-Generational
Multiracials' (MGMs / ex. cascos, griffe, creole,
metis, etc.) – via their ’Mixed-Ancestry’.

This welcome is extended as well to those who are of 'mono'-racial
lineage -- yet are also sincerely interested in issues affecting the
many types of mixed-raced communities and people as well.

In this group, you can feel free to share your thoughts and opinions with other members.

(Photo shown here is of a few celebrities of FGM Mixed lineage -- and those presented include include
'Lenny Kravitz'; 'Sophie Okonedo'; 'Mark Paul Gosselaar'; 'Samantha Mumba'; 'Kristin Kreuk', etc.)
