NEWS:
Jeri Smith-Ready has sold two more books in her WVMP RADIO urban fantasy series, bringing the total to four. Books 3 and 4 will appear in 2010 and 2011. Jeri also sold German and Brazilian rights to her YA series GENERATION GHOST, beginning in Summer 2010.
Jeri Smith-Ready's WICKED GAME won the 2009 Darrell Award for Best Midsouth Science Fiction/Fantasy Novel.
The May '09 issue of Romantic Times BOOK Reviews magazine (#303) is hitting newsstands at bookstores around the country now. The issue features a cover story on S. J. Yasmine Galenorn is going to be in The Shadow of Mist , a new Otherworld novella coming out in November, 2009 from Berkley, in the Never After anthology . Other authors in the anthology: Laurell K. Hamilton, Marjorie Liu, and Sharon Shinn.
Also from Yasmine, Dragon Wytch, book four of the Otherworld Series, is a finalist in the paranormal category of the RITA awards. ALSO, France has also bought the translation rights for Darkling and Dragon Wytch! So two more in French. That's the first six Otherworld books for Germany, the first four for France.
Yasmine will also be presenting at least one workshop at the Emerald City Writers Conference in October: Urban Fantasy: A Walk on the Witchy Side.
Kathryn Smith just sold the complete Brotherhood of the Blood series to Poland for translation.
