I HAVE A PRAYER REQUEST FOR MY HUSBAND

One thing that I have been praying for over the months is his safety
during this time of transition with new baby.
As with a lot of 'special times' there are a lot of stresses as well
as joys involved!
We have had a lot of 'other' strains going on as well with finances
and repairs in our home dryer, dishwasher, furnace the later two yet
unresolved! BUT in the process of finding solutions. We got the part
for the dishwasher and I think I have found a local community org that
can help with the furnace! We tried fixing ourselves to no avail. It
is getting colder each day and dh worries a bit about it especially
since he has NO energy for it ALL!
of course as with other times we have a lot going on like a new birth
he was put on an opposite from normal work shift weeks and that is
taking a toll.
We also found it needed to take a couple chiro. appts for my back
after t he birth -baby presented more of a a tilted brow first
position and needed adjusting as well. Also paperwork for ins. and ss
card birth cert and getting our voters ballots off n the mail all came
this week!

All that to say we have done a herculean amount in a short period of
time! PTL for HIS strength and encouragement!

I am concerned though for Michael he is trying so hard but he is
discouraged.
Birth before this one he had a few minor but potentially dangerous
accidents at work and even a parking lot collision at work...
Lack of sleep is hard on him!
PLease pray for a restful but productive weekend!
Please pray I can get in contact with local agency for this furnace
repair too take the stress level down a bit!

My healing is going pretty well! Day before yesterday I did have the
huge hormonal shift take place and it was a physically an d mentally
rough day. I did much better but noticed emotion was high as I messed
up with my camera and lost the first bath photos I'd taken the day
before, Ugh. Not a good time to deal with that emotionally!
I did have a lady friend stop by with some canned goods and other
practical things as well as saying she signed us up for some local
help and she and her dh want to bring us a thanksgiving basket! So
there was encouragement there along side the rougher stuff!!!
We'd met them by helping them out this Spring and they have been
friends ever since PTL

So a secondary question.

I was also praying that when this time came ( knowing there would be
building challenges) That I would better respond to the needs Mike has
and that I would give my all and when there were times that I just
couldn't meet all the needs ie he went to work this morning with no
lunch. But he did get a list of needed errands to run after work!

I of course will put a decent meal on the table for his arrival! Top
priority today is to tie up some of the things he is worrying about.
Other than breastfeeding the four day old!

For those of you who have husbands that have more of a boyish side
that is constantly being developed into a more mature character...
how do you help that process? Sometimes I think I work against it
because I just start to respond to the boy in him and want to coddle
and other times I am frustrated because he gets frustrated and I just
want someone to FIX things.

Sincerely wanting to use this time for our growth though just getting
through it would be great too!
