Greater Cagayan de Oro Area


This Forum is intended for Foreigners and Pinoys (and families) who live in the greater CDO Area (e.g. Northern Mindanao), or who are thinking about living/visiting here.


Women are encouraged to participate.


There's only a few hundred Expats here - from Asia, Europe, North America.
We have an active local social network (see "CALENDAR") - try to help one another if possible. We're concerned with what goes on in the rest of the Philippines - but not very much. Our focus in this Forum is what goes on in our daily CDO lives - our family and friends - our futures.

CDO is a smaller city with the benefits of a larger one: excellent Medical Facilities, Shopping Malls, great Restaurants - Live Entertainment, many Educational Institutions, Air-Sea Connections to all over. We don't have the negatives of a Manila or Cebu: heavy pollution, big road congestion, lots of crime, and higher prices/cost-of-living.CDO is a nice place to spend a life...
