This Forum is intended for Foreigners and Pinoys (and families) who live in the greater CDO Area (e.g. Northern Mindanao), or who are thinking about living/visiting here.

Women are encouraged to participate.

There's only a few hundred Expats here - from Asia, Europe, North America.
We have an active local social network (see "CALENDAR") - try to help one another if possible. We're concerned with what goes on in the rest of the Philippines - but not very much. Our focus in this Forum is what goes on in our daily CDO lives - our family and friends - our futures.

CDO is a smaller city with the benefits of a larger one: excellent Medical Facilities, Shopping Malls, great Restaurants - Live Entertainment, many Educational Institutions, Air-Sea Connections to all over. We don't have the negatives of a Manila or Cebu: heavy pollution, big road congestion, lots of crime, and higher prices/cost-of-living.CDO is a nice place to spend time in a life...
